Welcome to Stylus Studios
Stylus Studios is a new recording studio in Sheffield, located 5 minutes walk from the transport interchange, train station and city centre. Their market consists mostly of young bands who want to get down a demo ep, this is reflected in the amazing price of £200 for the weekend, or 16 hours. At the heart of the studio is a 24 channel TAC Scorpion mixing console and Tannoy Reveal active monitors and a Athlon AMD 64bit dual core tower.
The live room has a pre-mic'd 1976 Premier drum kit with, a Laney valve amp with a 4x12 Rrandall cab with vintage Celestion speakers, reducing time spent setting up equipment and eating in to your studio time! If you which to bring your own equipment down to record with, that's fine too.
The premises is made up of 5 rooms, the live room, control room, kitchen, lounge and vocal room. So whilst track are being laid down by your band members you can watch some DVDs, play N64, PS1 or PS2 or even make some dinner.
